Partnerships

The University of Zurich and Charles University Prague are entering into a strategic partnership. The largest universities in the Czech Republic and Switzerland are strengthening cooperation in research and teaching as well as the exchange of students.

The partnership enables the two universities to exchange ideas on a wide range of levels, to learn from each other and to support each other. In particular, it promotes research cooperation, the development of innovative teaching formats, institutional development, the promotion of young researchers and student mobility. The exchange of students between Zurich and Prague has already existed for 20 years. The two universities have also been cooperating successfully in research for a long time with joint research projects in medicine, the humanities and natural sciences, as well as with around 400 joint scientific publications.
