Hohenegg Foundation Symposium: "Silence Please - Better Understanding and Treatment of Tinnitus"

In Europe alone, about 40 million people suffer from chronic tinnitus, i.e. the permanent subjective perception of noises or sounds without the presence of a sound source. This number illustrates the relevance of this medical field, which will be addressed by up to 150 general practitioners, ORL physicians, psychiatrists as well as scientists from various disciplines correlated with the interdisciplinary field of tinnitus research and treatment at our symposium. We want to present important results of tinnitus research and treatment of the last years. The symposium will provide a good platform to exchange information and knowledge, to discuss diagnosis and effective treatment methods as well as to establish contacts.

The event took place on Thursday 21 November 2019 from 14:00 - 18:00, followed by an aperitif at the KOSMOS Cultural Centre in Zurich.
